The San Bernardino County Medi-Cal Outreach, Renewal and Enrollment (SBC-MORE) initiative was created to expand Medi-Cal outreach, increase Medi-Cal enrollment, and promote renewal and retention among targeted populations.
In January 2015, San Bernardino County and Loma Linda University School of Public Health partnered to provide Medi-Cal outreach, enrollment, and retention services throughout San Bernardino County. The SBC-MORE project is led by Loma Linda University School of Public Health professors, Sherma Charlemagne-Badal, PhD, and Edward McField, PhD. SBC-MORE is a historical coalition comprised of several San Bernardino County departments, and community -based organizations with extensive experience in community health outreach.
Since its inception, SBC-MORE has helped thousands of individuals complete the Medi-Cal enrollment process and navigate the healthcare system. Anyone in need of Medi-Cal coverage may contact SBC-MORE to obtain information and/or application assistance free of charge. This initiative will be active through June 2018.
